It is a trade language among the Midnight Archipelago, a pidgin of Castillian, Montaigne and various Islander dialects. Characters from other nations can buy Islander Patois for 1 HP more than they pay for Castillian, or for 1 point if they have the Colonial background.
• Mertí is the native language of the natives of Ile Mertí.
